Sitting at the foot of the Inner Alster in the centre of town, Alex has one of the best views of the river. Lunches are slightly overpriced for what they are and Sunday brunch can be crowded and smoky in spite of the restaurant's large size. However, many would argue that the prime location outweighs any cons.
