Housed in the oldest standing half-timbered house in Kaiserslautern (1740) the ‘spinning wheel’ is a comfortable purveyor of typical Pfälzer-specialities. The restaurant blends into a wine bar and cigar lounge replete with obligatory leather chairs. This is the place the tourist office always recommends and it is usually busy.
