This Connewitz haunt was packed on the Friday night we visited, so we sat at the side bar. The countertop was made of glass, beneath which the word “INTERIM” was cut out of cress growing in a bed of soil. The peppy bartender said it was art and swore this was the best bar in Leipzig. Who are we to argue?
