Designed by the same architect who brought you Berlin’s iconic Fernsehturm (TV tower), the City Tower Block is a giant among midgets at 142 metres. A restaurant is on the 29th floor and observation deck just above that. The building was completed in 1975 and resembles an open book symbolising Leipzig’s publishing history. We’ll take their word for it.
