Leipzig   Sights

You don’t have to go far to find a lake in Leipzig. The Auensee lies just to the west of the city centre in Wahren, and its proximity to the city makes it a favourite summer destination. Currently you can not swim in the man-made lake, but boating and fishing are allowed. If you have the family with you, take the miniature park steam or electric train for a ride around the lake.
