This posh beer garden is located in one Munich’s most beautiful areas, the lake in the huge English Garden. Surrounded by lush greenery and water, the beer garden is a Munich favourite, especially with the upper classes. It’s a tad pricey here compared to the Chinese Tower beer garden close by but the atmosphere and food are superior. In addition to the ubiquitous Bavarian fare, like bratwurst, French cuisine is also on offer. Boat rentals on the lake are available.
