A old neoclassical house, just off the main bar square of Gazi, belonging to the owner's family since they moved to Athens from Asia minor in 1926, is now converted into a 3 level atmospheric nightspot. A ground floor bar playing funky tunes, a first floor bistro with small rooms and flowery wallpapers and an open air terrace (when weather permits) with an ethnic feel. The whole experience is completed with Mediterranean food coming in small tapas portions, nargile and live dance show every Friday evening. A lovely narrow art nouveau building hidden just off Athinas St has been transformed into an authentic Cuban corner complete with a small live stage where jazz and funk bands often perform.
Every last detail has been taken care of and an early visit is advisable to savour the fine atmosphere. If you arrive late the chances are that you will have to enjoy your drink outside in the narrow street but that doesn't matter as you'll be among truely hip crowds.
