Established in 2008, TAF is a relatively new kid on the Monastiraki block, a refreshing and creative endeavour that puts all other art-cum-bar establishments to shame. An outdoor bar situated in the courtyard of an exquisitely rundown neoclassical building dating back to 1870, the soothing sound of jazz, cool lighting and lovingly-tended plants make for a vibrant and intellectual atmosphere that attracts the crème-de-la-crème of the Athenian crowd. Its excellent exhibition programme changes frequently and utilises the entire space in a way that would bring any art enthusiast to their knees.
