Actually, the sticker is not a registration, but the toll fee for using the motorways. if you don't drive on the motorways, you don't need it. -

About the sticker Emily, you have to pay the highwaytax, it's a sticker you pu in your windscreen and it becomes registerd on the cars registration plates. The highwaytax-police, can check the lack of sticker/payd tax without stopping you, they just check the plate number and send a bill to the car owner, so I am afriad FOX is right... -

I have rented from Fox dozens of times and their service is always superb. I've never had a single problem. -

DO NOT RENT FROM FOX AUTORENT! About a month after I returned my car, they sent me a bill for an additional $300 for traffic fines. The fines were apparently for a registration sticker that was missing from the car. A registration sticker! I can't understand how that's my fault. I argued with them, pointing out that they never informed me of any additional registration arrangements I needed to make, but they didn't care. Looks like they made a mistake they didn't feel like paying for, so they passed the fine off to me. Extremely bad business practice if you ask me.
