Taxis are pretty easy to come by in Dublin, but really it’s only difficult at peak times – such as post Friday and Saturday nights! Taxis can be hailed anywhere in the city once their roof registration lights are on. They can also be pre-booked using a number of different service providers. In such situations a call-out fee is applicable (€2.00 ).
Fixed charges are €4.10 (08:00 - 20:00) and €4.45 (20:00 – 08:00), further charges apply for extra passengers and distance. There is no extra charge for luggage.
