Just beside Trinity College is this landmark 60s cinema and sister to the Savoy on O’Connell St. Originally a single screen cinema it was tripled in size in the 1980s. Blockbusters can run here longer than in other cinemas so don’t fret if you think you've missed that must-see. The Screen also plays some favourite alternative movies rarely shown in larger cinemas and some retro gems of days past (right up to 90s movies sometimes). It's another favourite venue for the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival and is also part of the Omniplex chain.
