IFI Bar

The Irish Film Institute’s bar and restaurant is an extension of the arthouse cinema and bookshop that’s been in Temple Bar for a decade. Its food is reasonably priced and deservedly popular, which means that even on weeknights it can sometimes be hard to get a seat. The burger is one of the best in town (we recommend the blue cheese burger which also comes with bacon, tomato relish, a side-salad and chunky chips- yummy!) Predictably, students, arty types, filmmakers and actors have made it their spiritual home... and very occasionally you’ll see a famous face there. A nice pub too.
