Porterhouse North

Each of the Dublin Porterhouses has a personality consistent with its location - the Temple Bar one (incidentally the best) is bustling and multicultural, the one off Grafton St marginally more upmarket, and the North one feels, appropriately, less refined and more like a suburban pub. That means it’s the best of the three places to watch an afternoon match, but probably not the best for an understated night. It’s very mainstream and busy, which can be a good thing, and, despite its relatively earthy vibe, still has the Porterhouse beers and a good bar menu. We recommend the Porterhouse Red.
