Dublin’s only venue built and designed specifically for stand-up, Murphy’s Laughter Lounge is a terrific place for comedy. It caters for groups too, and you can order finger food and such if you book it in advance. Regardless of whether you’ve heard of the comics playing, it will more than likely be worth your while turning up. Oh, and on Friday and Saturdays you can stay back and dance to the tunes of their uber-funky DJ.
