Front Lounge

The Front Lounge is not only the classiest gay-friendly bar in Dublin, what with its tasteful decor and comfy leather furniture, but it’s also pleasingly understated: it’s a popular place for gays and lesbians to bring their straight friends (though the vast majority of customers are gay). Depending on the night, there could be a DJ, jazz band or karaoke For the most part, though, it’s just a nice, comfortable bar. They serve lunch too and the food is good, even if the service can be a little slow; a relaxing meal, in other words, but not somewhere to eat if you’re in a rush.
