Almost stubbornly simple in its décor and layout, Anseo (Gaelic for ‘here’ and pronounced ‘on-shaw’), draws a lot of music fans and creative types. It’s a dark bar, not unlike one you’d find in an American city, with a great line in music - ranging from retro rock, to soul to alternative. It gets really busy on weekends, so if you can, get there before 20:00 to land a table and chair. Some say it’s a little too basic, but  we say it’s a fun place for music fans who are lucky enough to get a table.
