Strip Clubs
Strip clubs, also known as lapdancing clubs have become increasingly common in Dublin since Ireland’s economic heyday in the 90s. Post-Celtic Tiger Dublin has a number of clubs on Leeson Street and a few in Temple Bar. They’re very, very easy to find- fliers are passed out to revellers on weekend nights, and almost every taxi driver will be able to bring you right to the door of one. Rumour has it that many of them offer illegal extras for the right price, but we haven't heard anything substantial about backdoor shenanigans. Cover charges ranging from €10 to €20 are not unheard of, with lapdances costing at least as much and drinks usually well above your average Dublin price. Unsurprisingly, they’re popular among those on stag weekends or with generous expense accounts.
