Opera in the Open
The annual Opera in the Open series returns this year to Wood Quay. For five Thursdays in a row you can be entertained by music from your favourite operas, and all for free.

It's lovely to see some brilliant performances during your lunch. It’ll be at the amphitheatre at the back of the Dublin City Council offices. The performances will be:

6 August – ‘The Magic Flute’ by Mozart
13 August – ‘Giulio Cesare’ by Handel
20 August – ‘Don Pasquale’ by Donizetti
27 August – ‘Hansel und Gretel’ by Humperdinck
2 September – ‘Idomeneo’ by Mozart

So grab your sandwich, bring something comfortable to sit on and keep your fingers crossed that the Irish weather holds out.
