Globetrotters

Globetrotters
Part of The Townhouse B&B, this hostel also occupies the 200-year-old building which was once the home of 19th Century playwrights Dion Boucicault and Lafcadio Hearn. Bike storage is provided in an enclosed garage and car parking is available for €10 (subject to availability). Rooms have custom-made pine bunk beds complete with your own reading light. You get a quilt as well as bed linen, a nice touch. The free breakfast is a Full Irish affair - none of your namby pamby toast and cereal nonsense - and can be taken in the tranquil Japanese garden. As can the free tea and coffee also available to all you spoilt guests.  A full kitchen is available after 15:00 should the post-sightseeing rumbles return.
