Kosovo’s first snowboard cross competition will take place from 18-20 March 2011.

Snowboarders will race down a 730-metre track designed to international FIS standards, and stand a chance to win €700-3,000. Race participants should register online by 13 March and arrive on 17 March. Special guest on Saturday is the Italian pro snowboarder Filippo Kratter, from the Red Bull team. Spectators are welcome, with Saturday and Sunday the most interesting days for them.

Apart from the races, expect lots of international visitors and partying. Bands and DJs playing this weekend include bands and DJs to entertain you after the sun has set over the snow. Expect performances from Daggi and Panda from Kosovo, Neizdat DJs, Shrink FM and Chiod from Serbia and Besa from Albania.
