Himalayan Gorkha

It's a bit of a expedition to find the modestly-sized and furnished restaurant on the first floor of the evil Qafa shopping centre, but the food is as authentic as it comes, with lovely Tibetan chicken and mutton momos (dumplings), some tandoor and other Indian dishes and Chinese food from across the Himalayas too. Free delivery to nearby offices, and take-away.

My wife & me used to frequent this place when we were in Kosovo last year and early this year. We loved the friendly staff (I remember Gopal) and nice food. Our best wishes to the guys... carry on the Good Work.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Pristina. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is consistently excellent. I've been to Nepal and I agree with Kaycee that this is about as authentic as I have come across in my travels. Also the delivery service is particularly nice. The location is strange but it just makes this one of the many hidden treasures Pristina has to offer! I highly recommend this.

One more happy customer who will return. I just had lunch there: chicken momo and Himalayan Gorkha mutton with naan. Very good food with a homemade touch, excellent sauces and balanced spices. I did not have to wait as there were only two other diners. A 2 course lunch and two beers for €15. It took me a while to find it - on the second floor of the long two-storey yellow brick shopping row, the signs are tiny.

Great food, and I agree with Kayce - absolutely worth the wait. I would also recommend the paneer dishes, they're fantastic.

I'd like to start by saying, this is a Nepali restaurant that has some Indian dishes on its menu. The food is fantastic. I am originally from Nepal and I'm telling you, this is as good as home cooking. The staff is very curteous, though they speak very little English. I highly recommend the chai (chee-ya In Nepali), hot and sour soup, the momos and chicken chilli. It is family-owned and they have a very small staff, so be patient, when you get the food, it will be worth the wait. Help yourself to a generous serving of Nepali culture in the Balkans!

Great food, but the service was incredibly slow (we waited 1.5 hours for our meals). Kind of creepy location, at night. As of Feb people were still smoking in the entire (small) restaurant.

Absolutely excellent - great food, service and prices.
