XIX's interior intentions are hard to grasp with the tartan tablecloths and daily specials blackboard, but the food couldn't be much better. The menu includes 18 pizzas, plus there's good antipasto, pasta, beef and fish to boot. There's a decent wine list too, and the waiters belong to that rare perfect breed who remain just the right side of attentive without sitting on your lap. Brilliant stuff.

  I used to live in Pristina and Pizza XIX (pronounced Ziz) was my Saturday lunch stop almost every weekend. Order a "Pizza XIX" from the menu and you will not be disappointed. The spicy chicken is a great appetizer when dining as a group. This place is great with tasty wines and good beer if you want to make an afternoon evening of it! I recommend it wholeheartedly.

  In such shabby interior you would not expect to eat just about the best pizza in the world. it is just amazing, with home made stiff tomato sauce (not ketchup!), thin and crispy, unbelievable pastry. The same goes for the pasta. Service is excellent, not hanging on your shoulders, but fast and polite as needed. Bravo!
