Right next to the clock tower stands another of Pristina's few remaining 19th century Ottoman konak-style private houses. It is currently used by the Academy for Sciences and Arts (Akademia e Shkencave dhe e Arteve, ASHAK)  who have added a rather ugly glass winter garden to the building. If you ask you can enter to walk around the courtyard.
