Restaurants in Prizren
While Pristina may offer much more culinary variety, Prizren has the looks, and many restaurants offer great views of medieval buildings and bustling car-free streets. The local restaurant scene is still rather modest, and though it's easy to find a good meal, the choice is basically local food or pizza. But who needs sushi or burritos when you have excellent Balkan dishes readily available? It's possible to have three Balkan meals in one day that are all completely different, and delicious. What's more, prices are modest with main courses priced between €2-5, going up to €8 at the posher places. More upmarket dining is found easily reached outside of Prizren, along Lake Vërmica and in the Sharr Mountains - see the
Sightseeing chapter for reviews. Note that table reservations are normally not necessary.
