Shopping in Prizren

Prizren's modest shopping scene has changed in recent years, and although the variety does not match Pristina by far, you can find most of what you need now, plus a few surprises. Textile, shoes, jewellery and furniture are mainly imported from Turkey. Gold and silver articles are also made locally by skilled craftsmen and are a Prizren speciality (see also the Filigran feature), as are items like Prizren cloth, knives, embroidery and other folk handcrafts. Note that credit cards are not widely accepted yet - bring cash on your shopping spree.
