Getting to this restaurant takes a small effort. Hop over the Dnipro to the left bank and the Slavutych Hotel, ascend to the 16th floor and turn right out of the lift. Once inside you’ll discover that the minor travel hassle was well worth it. The panoramic view of the right bank and the stunning domes of Kyivo-Pechers’ka Lavra is arguably the best in the city. Skip the Japanese and order the Korean - you won’t be disappointed. Karaoke is available.

This restaurant is absolutely terrible. The service was slow, although we were only 3 adults and 1 child. Food were also not so good. I was so disappointed with the bulgogi barbecue and the stir stone rice, which supposed to be Korean specialities. One word, never go back again, doesn't worth!

Free wifi. The Slavutich hotel wifi is quite expensive but at Han Gang you get free wifi and also delicious Korean food. Panoramic views of Kiev. The best Korean food in Kiev. Well worth the trip to the left bank and a must for anyone staying in the hotel.

Okay, my wife and I made the extra effort and tried Han Gong. It's true, if you really like Korean, then don't bother with the sushi. In fact, don't bother with the Japanese dishes at all. It's not what they are best at. Unfortunately, the service when we were there was a bit slow and the soup was served after the mains. On the plus side, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the quantity was enough for a family of 6 but there was only the 2 of us. Overall, it was an ordinary dining experience and not actually worth the extra effort to get there unless you can't do without Korean on the menu. The view isn't bad but nothing to rave about.
