The service is attentive but not overbearing, while the impressive interior combines a 17th century king’s palace and a peasant tavern downstairs with a modern upstairs room.

I ate there last night. The food was good but prices on the high side. The problem was when I came to pay. They forgot to lead the card machine with paper so couldn't take my signature. OR so they told me. The upshot was I was kept waiting one hour before I got my card back and then told that I might have been charged twice but they would cancel one payment if they discovered it. I was kept waiting from 10pm until 11pm until I could leave. They did offer me a free dessert when I loudly complained as if I wanted to stay there any longer than I already had done. A free meal would have been more like it. Avoid this place!
