Jūrmala has been a resort town since the 19th century so accommodation, not surprisingly, is in great abundance. Ageing concrete testaments to the bygone Soviet era mingle with completely renovated five-star spa hotels and humble campgrounds, so you'll have plenty to choose from, but quality budget lodging remains elusive.
