Ripa, or hockey puck, is appropriately connected to the Liepāja hockey arena on the opposite side of the canal from the old town. The walls are decorated with photos, jerseys, trophies and other memorabilia from the Liepājas Metalurgs hockey and football teams and you can watch live sports on three flat screen TVs while enjoying an inexpensive Tērvetes brew or Latvian-style lunch. Under-10 patrons can take advantage of the children’s play area in the corner.
