Medus, or honey in Latvian, has a helter-skelter interior of steel columns, bizarre lamps above the bar that look like showerheads and a wall completely made of firewood that encloses the toilet. Bread and honey precede all of the international dishes served here and a kids’ menu is also available. The service is laid-back, meaning slow, and locals tend to get preferential treatment, so don’t surprised if people who arrive after you get their food first.
