A Google search reveals that Varzob is a town in Tajikistan, not far from the capital Dushanbe, and not much else. Odd then that many of the decorations here including a traditional costume and a painting of an abandoned ship in the sands of what used to be the Aral Sea seem to be Uzbek. In any event, this tiny café serves delicious Central Asian cuisine like lagman (tomato, noodle and lamb soup) with fresh non (bread) for cheap, not to mention draught Užavas beer. [...]
