It’s well known that Charlestons owner Elmārs Tannis is also one of the founders of Latvia’s first chain of pizzerias, Pizza Lulū. True to his roots, he’s added a pizza oven to the front café of his flagship restaurant and now offers 10 delicious thin-crust pies from salmon or prawn pizzas to Hawaii and classic Margaritas. Naturally, given his cheeky sense of humour, the Canadian-Latvian restaurateur couldn’t resist giving his tasty concoctions names like ‘shrimpo’ and ‘chickita.’ If you’re in a hurry you can order them as well as food from the salad bar to takeaway.
