Like most Europeans, Latvians are absolutely mad for new technological gadgets and most locals wouldn't be caught dead with last year's smart phone. Wireless internet is also sweeping the nation and even the post office has been modernised, excluding, of course, some of its elder staff that still insist on barking orders at patrons.
