Golden doesn’t promote itself much as a gay club from the outside, but the flamboyant bartenders do a pretty good job of convincing you just in case you didn’t get the hint coming in. After navigating corridors and staircases for a time, you’ll find a stylish interior, as one might expect, where patrons can sit at the bar in the atrium or relax in the smoker’s lounge. Thankfully, it doesn't have that sleazy vibe that some gay clubs tend to exude.

    i have been in golden bar few times.i find the place very nice.good varity of alcohol.and avery Nice design. if you are gay this is the place you will want to spend some time in riga

    THE gay place to go to in Riga! Was pleasantly surprised by this bar, went there Saturday night after a disappointing time at XXL the previous evening (it was nearly empty on a Friday night except for me and my 2 friends also from out of town and a couple of strays.) Golden is a hip place, stylish, with friendly bartenders. After 4 days in a beautiful city seemingly devoid of gays, it was refreshing to find this place. I'd recommend it to anyone as the number one gay venue in Riga.
