  i have been few times in xxl bar.i dident found that i was charged more than locals or that the staff was Unfriendly. in 2009 i stayed in ther hotel for one week and i was very pleasd.becose i was aguest i got free entrance to the club and sauna.im going to be this year in december so i could see if things had been changed.but for the times i was in xxl club i had a very good time.wait for my report after december.hope i will have good things to tell.

  Overpriced drinks (9 euro for vodka and coke). Unfriendly staff. Tourists charged more than locals. Cheap tacky decor. Go to Golden Bar instead-cheaper and welcoming.

  I want to hear how people have been ripped off in XXL Bar at XXL Nightclub and at their hotel, telling it so no others will be scammed at this place XXL Nakts Klubs that lately unfortunately has become a disgrace to the gay community and for Riga and Latvia, so the tax authority and the police are made aware of all people who have been ripped off there.Hope in your pocket Riga also puts a warning about this place to the printed edition so people that one can not trust like the staff and owners of a place that XXL has become nowadays.

  A gay palce where a lot of straight couples goes as well. They change the decoration a bit and make more bars, even at the cruising area. I do not know, I have visited this place several times from 2005 to 2010 and must say i mist something and that is that typical gay atmosphere. It is for me more a place where youngsters ( who is bored and not gay) hanging out. Tourist are paying more than locals is the truth... not a place either to pick up somebody. Sorry, but Riga is not a gay place at all. Prices are expensive compare somewhere else...

  sleazy and expensive. Especially tourist are overcharged like making them pay 7 euro for a free wardrobe!

  There is cheeper club in Riga on Matisa 62 - Purvs (Swamp). It's always crowd. Mostly there entertains youth. Only you have to be carefull on the street. I have bad experience when I was attacked while I went to the bus stop by addict. I advice you to go by taxi.

  I went here a few times. It`s a bad overprized club. 5,20 euro for a beer is even more than Helsinki.I now no why there are no people inside this club.
