No other sports, Irish or expat bar for that matter has as many TVs as the KHL Sports Bar housed in the cellar of the Hotel Latvija. Walk past autographed hockey pucks and team jerseys behind glass to reach this spacious bar where large comfortable booths look like hockey goals and lamps are disguised as hockey helmets. As we went to press the menu and beer selection were a bit limited, but it had just opened and the staff promised that a larger variety of food and drink was in the works. It appears that the only area of the bar where you can miss any of the live sports action is the toilet. Note to management: please add a TV to the men’s room!
