This is one of the prettiest beer gardens in the city that most people, including locals, will never see. The Right Bank is a quiet, elevated courtyard garden sandwiched between two small churches and a few flowering trees with fantastic views of the River Daugava. As if that weren’t enough to peak your interest, the beer it serves is incredibly cheap by Old Riga standards with Lāčplēsis brews selling for 1.20Ls and Czech Budweiser commanding a respectable price of 1.60Ls. Burgers, BLTs and salads can be had as well as pork and chicken shashliks cooked on the Weber grill outside. Unlike other beer gardens it also boasts a proper toilet.
