After the immense success of their first Uzbek restaurant, the owners of Uzbekistāna decided to open yet another ethnic restaurant, but with a different style and concept. You can still order delicious lamb shish kebabs, shurpa, lagman and other Central Asian cuisine, but you can also try sushi and some other popular international dishes in a refined half-cellar whose only Uzbek accents are a few blue-green ceramic plates on the white walls and the traditional carpets on the floor. A wide variety of wine and cocktails are also available as well as Leffe Blonde and Valmiermuiža brews on draught. The menu offers glossy photos of most dishes and you can watch your skewer of meat cook behind a glass wall in the back room.
