Uzbekistāna
A visit to Uzbekistan is like a trip to Samarkand or Tashkent but without the heat. Its whitewashed walls are decorated with beautiful ceramic plates, traditional tubeteika hats and paintings of Silk Road caravans, while the floor is covered with Central Asian and near eastern carpets. Enjoy delicious shurpas (soups), hot non (bread), spicy manti (meat dumplings) and shashliks (grilled meat) galore. You can also watch your meat sizzling on the grill behind a glass partition to the left or have a seat on comfortable couches on its summer terrace outside.

Went there for dinner with my folks recently. The bill was really reasonable to the quality of food they offer. Their "house special" plov dish was superb - been long time since I've had it at such quality (last time I could recall was some 10 years ago prepared by native uzbek guys). The chebureks (fried meat pastries) were also worth a compliment. The staff dressed in native dresses was polite and able to describe each dish in details (quality that many "upmarket" resaurants still lack). Only thing I would give as an advice - make sure you take comfy seats. The hard chairs at small tables are not a comfortable seat for a long slow meal for sure. But on the bright side there is plenty of sofa-like seats and soft chairs. So definately go for those ones.As a bottom line - liked it a lot and will go there again.
