Located on the ground floor of the Justus design hotel, this cosy restaurant offers up an interesting interior of Latvian antique country furniture and farm implements, some of which are used in unique ways like the wooden bowls, boxes, butter churns and even an old-fashioned bassinet that serve as lamps and chandeliers. Although the simple menu of international cuisine like Caesar salads, sandwiches and steaks seems rather generic at first glance, the serving sizes and expert preparation make for a very tasty meal. Great views of one of Old Riga’s best art nouveau treasures across the street is yet another bonus.
