Housed in a beautiful building that once belonged to the mayor of Riga in medieval times, this wine shop and upmarket restaurant is now owned and operated by Italian wine importers. The interior makes good use of the historic space, which is only slightly marred by Mediterranean-style embellishments that put one in mind of classical paintings of the ancient world. A glass of wine, or a bowl of soup, will set you back just under 5Ls, but if you have the cash you probably won’t regret dining on sea bass in its private summer courtyard.
