  I used to love this place but a recent visit confirmed that it has been “localized.” Matzo is no longer offered at the tables and the eggs Benedict is basically just hard-boiled eggs on toast even though we asked the waitress to tell the cook that the yolks of poached eggs should be slightly runny. We had experienced the same on a separate visit but thought it was a fluke. Naturally it’s hard to blame the poor young woman who served us as she was the only waitress for the entire restaurant on a Saturday around noon! The Harry Breakfast which is supposed to be like an English breakfast had greasy Latvian “hunter’s sausages” instead of proper English sausages too. Our neighbours also complained about the food. It’s always sad to watch a good restaurant become “localized” as so often happens in Latvia. A real disappointment.
