Although this version of Latvia’s 1st Rock Café is nowhere near as impressive as the original four-storey food and drink complex in Liepāja, Latvia’s second such establishment is located in an historic 17th-century merchant’s house on a popular nightlife street in Old Riga. It’s a restaurant, bar and club all in one as well as a museum of sorts for Latvian music memorabilia that’s displayed on its walls. You can expect generous servings of affordable international food like steaks, pizzas, pastas and vegetarian dishes. Our only complaint is the poor selection of local brews.
