Café Lehaim

Café Lehaim
Located around the corner from the Jewish museum this small café may lack atmosphere, but all of the food it serves is kosher. Soups, chicken and fish dishes and cheap pita with falafel sandwiches can be had, as well as Jewish souvenirs, books and press. The menu isn't available in Hebrew, but it is written in English.

Open 10:00 - 21:00, Fri 10:00 until sunset for the Sabbath, Sun 12:00 - 19:00. Closed Sat. (3 - 5Ls)

Had two lunches here. The food was delicious, plentiful and very cheap. The menu was extensive, and we were spoilt for choice. If you keep kosher, or just enjoy haimishe food, it is worth a visit. Surroundings are pleasant and clean. Dress very casually, as it is not a fancy setting, just good food.
