Red conical lamps with black tassels hang from the ceiling like giant fezzes, colour photos of whirling dervishes and blue-tiled mosques adorn the walls and Turkish pop music provides the soundtrack for this popular kebab shop on two floors. Pizza by the slice, falafel and baklava are all on the menu but most people come for the halal chicken or beef kebabs, which are definitely tasty, but, in our humble opinion, a bit on the small side.

Came to see Riga with friends so we walked in this place. You can call it anything but not a kebab. Is this what Latvians think a Kebab is? That's weird. Its the only bad experience which we had in Riga. But really bad :-(
There is an 8 year old kid working here filling up drinks for customers. Unfortunately he got our drink orders messed up, but I didnt say anything. Then after waiting for more than 15 minutes for 3 kebabs, our food order was wrong too. Cashier was rude to me when I told her I ordered something else. The doner kebab was mediocre - in a pita bread. What ruined it was the spicy tomato sauce. It tasted like tomato paste diluted with water. Also there was more cabbage than meat. We were there last night and tonite its 3am and having bouts of diaharrea. Think twice before eating here.
best kebab in old city
It was horrible. The worst kebab in my life. As if I ate some tasteless sandwich with ketchup ...
