The cosy cellars of the Jacob’s Barracks are an ideal location for a place that caters to Riga’s visitors and the interior sports a generic folksy atmosphere of wooden tables, ceramic candelabras and ‘antique’ murals on the walls. This of course is diplomatic speak for the fact that it's a complete tourist trap run by a local tourism agency.

3 things- first of all do not relly on a staff as they cheat and do not inform you properly about prices2nd- 10% of service is extra charge3rd- if you order beer then do not be surprised if she will pour in the max capacity mug and will charge you the highest price in the city
