If Paul Bunyon built a log cabin in Latvia it would look like this! Mr. Ķirsons of the LIDO Empire has outdone himself with the biggest buffet of home cookin' this country has ever seen. Enter the tremendous cellar and discover another restaurant with two bars which serve beer brewed on the premises. Weekends are family days with various activities for the kids including in-line skating and there's live singing and dancing every night from 19:00. Take bus N°12 from the train station directly or tram N°3, 7 or 9 to the 'Atpūtas centrs LIDO' stop and walk about 5 - 10 minutes in the direction of the huge windmill.

  evry time im coming back to riga im going to eat in one of the restaurants of lido.my favorite is theLIDO atpūtas centrs.beautiful place huge varity of tasty food and great atmosfer.olso i recomend to visit ther in Christmas.the place is so full with decoration that one can think he is in afairy tale.this year when ill come to riga for christmas i know wher im going to eat for at least one time.

  Absolutely my favorite restaurant to visit while in Riga. The selection is unbelievable and the atmosphere is great. Not only is this a great place to eat and drink, but it is also a great place to bring a family. The "theme park" outside is great for kids of all ages. I look forward to visiting Lido every time I am in Riga

  Eating at ANY LIDO should be HIGHLIGHTED in your guide to Riga! Fantastic value for money!You can choose what you want to eat[ Buffet style and a good range of local food] is VERY delicious and cheap! We were based in the city centre and visited the Lido Dzirnavs several times and enjoyed the food each time we went there! The ambiance of the place was good too..authentic Latvian!

  Guys - THIS IS IT! No visit to Riga is complete without going to Lido, if only for the atmosphere! I've never seen such a huge eating place with such variety before - not even in New York, London or Paris! Three floors of amazing food plus entertainment and lots of things to do for families with kids! Prices went up a bit lately, but it's still great and everyone finds the little something for him (or her) self!
