To be honest, we were tempted to turn around after stepping into this tiny cellar café, but the waiter was so friendly and welcoming that we decided to give it a shot. Incredibly cheap Latvian fare like meatball soup, pork schnitzel and potatoes is on the menu as well as nearly a dozen different ultra-thin crust pizzas, which are a little light on the toppings, but tasty just the same. The small, whitewashed room is nearly devoid of decoration save a couple of small paintings and model ships.
