A place to come and play some chess, read a book, listen to free concerts and occasional rantings from bored Bolsheviks in the outside auditorium or just to have a snowball fight in winter, this park is always full of locals. Many improvements have also been made in recent years, including new bricks for the walkways, repairs to the monuments and a small playground.

  There is a great tea house in the park as well. Apsara. It has a cozy upstairs with pillows to loung upon.
