Take a peep at Kėdainiai and you’ll discover it’s more than just a bunch of cucumbers. Not only does it possess the best well-preserved provincial old town in Lithuania, there are also several splendid other treats in store for the visitor. The architecture of Old Town is particularly interesting, and features everything from high gabled burgher houses to classic Jewish wooden buildings. The main places of interest can be easily covered in a day, although if you want to really explore the place, an overnight stay is recommended. The sights listed here are by no means inclusive. For more detailed information on what there is to see and do in and around Kėdainiai, the Tourist Information Centre is the place to head.
